It's hard to deny that the first-generation Chevrolet Camaro is one of the most enduringly iconic muscle cars in history, with production spanning from 1967 to 1969. Even with its relatively low power output – ranging between around 140 to 290 horses, depending on the model variant – and curb weight of about 3,500lbs, the '60s era pony car still holds a lasting appeal.

Now, Oklahoma-based automotive outfit Finale Speed has unveiled their revolutionary restomodded 'Viral' Camaro – touted as "the world's first exposed-weave carbon-fiber '69 Camaro" – which brings together modern performance capabilities and classic nods to its original design. Composed of pre-preg autoclave-cured carbon fiber and fitted with flush-mount glass, all-billet hinges and handles LED lighting, and ASF Glasurit clear coating protection, this sleek classic offers something truly unique.

The powertrain is composed of a GM Performance LT4 crate engine – amped up by a Wegner pulley system – coupled with an American Autowire harness and custom stainless steel exhaust system featuring Ultimate Headers headers and MagnaFlow mufflers for a potent 650hp punch. The engine is mated to a Tremec T-56 Super Magnum six-speed manual transmission plus a 9" rear end with Positraction limited slip diff and Dutchman axles for next-level responsiveness. Handling is vastly improved thanks to Speedtech subframes fore and aft, plus oversized sway bars and JRi coilovers. Wilwood calipers take care of braking with 14" slotted, cross-drilled vented rotors, while 18" Forgeline three-piece VX3C-SL wheels hold Focal tires for increased grip on the road.

Inside too, it has been heavily customized with VXR seats plus carbon rear seat delete. An Alcantara headliner compliments TMI door panels, while Classic Instruments gauges adorn an Old Air Products climate control system combining old-school looks meets present-day tech updates. Music fans will love the Alpine head unit paired with Mosconi five-channel amp, Focal speakers, and a subwoofer while the three-spoke steering wheel harks back to its racing heritage roots.

Finale Speed is offering this made-to-order Carbon Fiber Camaro build as either a roller body or complete finished turnkey vehicle at starting price point of $349K. With Viral's impressive power ready for your next cruise or race track outing, why look any further than this classic masterpiece?
