An urban sanctuary in the middle of Bangkok, the Blind House is a tranquil retreat with a glazed bottom floor retaining the primary living spaces. The architectural structure by Boon Design formed an origami-inspired sculptural hill that makes room for an open garage, and a row of hedges covers the upper story from the scenery. Relaxing on the transparent front, a concrete plane keeping the second level assembles the misconception of a mass hovering outside the terrain. The upper story is covered in a rusted metal lattice which presents a feeling of privacy while filtering in the sunlight. Inside, you'll find sleek, minimal spaces lined with natural materials for a relaxing and Zen experience or meditation-friendly space.
