When it comes to fast and furious electric cars, UK-based EV startup Charge is certainly taking the lead. As part of their mission to create an electrifying ride, they've taken 499 first-generation Ford Mustangs and transformed them into quad-electric motor-powered beasts that boast stunning performance on the street—and enough tech to make even Tesla take note.f
A 64-kilowatt-hour battery pack gives these incredible vehicles a range of up to 200 miles when cruising, though if you're eager to unleash all the amazing power that comes with 536 horsepower and 5,532 lb-ft of torque sent to all four wheels, you'll have less range. Fortunately, a massive centrally mounted touchscreen allows access to a range of parameters, including a rear-wheel drive-only setting for maximum thrills. What else does this incredible electric Mustang have in store? Alongside its spectacular top speed of 149 MPH (you'll get there in no time considering its 0-60 acceleration time clocks in just over three seconds).
The charge will be officially unveiling this awe-inspiring car at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It promises an impressive display unlike anything you've ever seen before – excitingly powerful, astronomically quick, brilliantly advanced, and dazzlingly innovative.
