At the 2022 New York International Auto Show, fans of high-performance automobiles everywhere were thrilled by what Austrian startup Deus had to offer: a revolutionary new electric hypercar, the Vayanne. This electrifying vehicle was produced through a joint effort between Deus Automobiles, Italdesign, and Williams Advanced Engineering – showcasing the best of the best in automotive innovation.
The Vayanne sports an awe-inspiring electric drivetrain capable of generating 2,200 horsepower and 1,475 lb-ft of torque. Its acceleration is nothing short of remarkable; Deus claims it can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 1.99 seconds! And with a top speed of 248 MPH, this incredible auto is sure to turn heads everywhere it goes. Despite its substantial power, however, don't expect to get much range if you try reaching these speeds – Vayanne's theoretical 300 miles per charge takes a hit when driving at such magnitudes.
In terms of design, the exterior follows an infinity motif as seen through its front and rear aesthetics, which incorporate Mobius strip themes that stand out amongst its contemporaries. Furthermore, each Vayanne will also be customizable according to the buyer's wishes – meeting their unique standards of excellence while still retaining the original look and feel Deus intended for this remarkable car.
With production limited to just 99 examples and production slated for 2025, the electric hypercar market is sure to become far more competitive by then, and Deus could very well be leading this charge from the frontlines.
