The new Echo Dot 4th Gen has an entirely new design, and it is more intuitive with your smart home control and security. The Alexa voice assistant has got better, with more crisp vocals and sound with deep bass. Like before, you can control all your smart home devices, ask Alexa questions, play music from streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music.

Furthermore, unlike the previous design, the creation of the device has a small globe shape. It is more aesthetic, with the known led indicator at the bottom of the device instead of the top. The main new feature is the Alexa Guard, which detects automatically, sounds of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, or glass breaking and alerts you while nobody is home. You can find the rear top's privacy button, and the volume's up and down buttons. The Echo Dot 4th Gen comes in three colors, charcoal, glacier white, and twilight blue.
