There's something eerie about Fresh House. It's a mid-century home designed by Production designer Jennifer Morden that comes to reflect the antagonist's personality in the film Fresh. The sets are designed to be both lavish and secluded, with the main floor subtly different from the basement. This hierarchy of spaces creates a sense of unease, as if something dangerous lurks just below the surface. The basement itself is an auditorium for Steve, who harvests women's meat and body parts. It's a gruesome lair that is sure to send chills down your spine. But it's also a fascinating and unique piece of film history. Fresh House is really impressive in all aspects if you're a horror fan, Or if quoting Jennifer Morden: "every design detail was specific to the feelings we wanted to convey about Steve, his ego, his thirst, and how to properly trick our audiences."
