Get ready, adrenaline-seekers and speed junkies. Brabus has given us a glimpse into the future of high-performance motorcycles with their latest launch, the ultra-luxurious BRABUS 1300R. This exquisite super naked bike is based on the popular KTM 1290 Super Duke EVO and is sure to be a hit with motorcyclists everywhere.
Every inch of the 1300R has been touched by the masterful hands of Brabus craftspeople, from its dramatic circular headlight set within an intricate carbon fiber shroud to its signature waspish mono-posto tail section. Its custom composite subframe holds a heated seat that sits lower than the standard model at 33.2" and is adorned with Brabus' classic stitch pattern. The wheels are 9-spoke platinum edition Zs, while WP APEX suspension delivers electronically controlled damping both front and back.
Equipped with Brembo Stylema four-pot monoblock calipers featuring carbon fiber cooling ducts, this powerful machine turns heads before it turns corners. The engine remains largely unchanged from the original 1290 Super Duke EVO – liquid-cooled 1,301cc V-Twin power delivering 180hp & 103ft-lbs of torque – though it features a matte black ceramic-coated dual-can exhaust for literally added horsepower and sound alike. Additional upgrades include a carbon fiber trim package, adjustable CNC levers and milled footpegs from German outfit Gilles Tooling, state-of-the-art electronics that run through a 5" TFT display, bold circular drop-down bar end mirrors as well as bespoke triple tree design reservoir caps branded with BRABUS logo for added exclusivity.
The 2022 BRABUS 1300R comes in two livery options: Magma Red or Signature Black and will be limited to just 77 units worldwide – each priced at €51,466 (~$58172). Undoubtedly special in more ways than one, this exquisite motorcycle is truly inimitable, combining world-class engineering with innovative performance parts that bring together style and luxury into one striking package.
