In the AlUla desert in Saudi Arabia, 47 luxury tents in the Ashar Tented Resort offer mystery, escape, and a haven like no other. The French architecture studio AW2 has developed and design as a part of the Royal Commission of AlUla to bring more and more tourists to the desert. The accommodation is made of 47 luxury suites built from compressed-earth bricks, which blends with the surrounding rock formation. Each magnificent tent has two or three bedrooms. The resort offers two restaurants, a spa, and a swimming pool that merged with the rocks—in other words, feeling attached to nature, vast desert sand, and water, giving an experience in a whole different place to enjoy. Moreover, the mission is to bring more encouragement from international tourism to the magical place in Saudi Arabia.
