The BMW R 18 Magnifica is a stunning custom motorcycle that pays tribute to old-world craftsmanship. Unveiled on June 8 during the Monaco show première, the R 18 Magnifica was designed by Andrea Radaelli of Radikal Chopper using traditional pen and paper methods, starting what would become an almost entirely hand-built project. Taking inspiration from iconic BMW bikes of the 1930s and '40s, the R 18 Magnifica is a genuinely unique motorcycle with a modern twist. Furthermore, what lies beneath the retro aesthetics is a technologically current motorbike. The hand-machined aluminum and hand-formed wood on the seat and grips give this bike a luxurious look and feel compared to the original model, which weighs 345 kg. We get just 250-260 kg in the Magnifica, which makes it incredibly agile.
